"For I know the plans I have for you", declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
How often do we paint God out to be a puppet master, wantonly putting us through hardships for his own entertainment? This isn't just wrong thinking; it's downright sinful. God places challenges in our path to make us trust him more. He is building spiritual strength, showing us what it really means to have faith.
I constantly need to be reminded that he has a perfect plan for me, and is shaping the course of my life in my best interest (though I may not see it that way at the time). He loves me SO. MUCH. How dare I think otherwise.
