Well here we go....
IT WAS AMAZING!
We were two rows back, right in between Fran (the lead singer) and Dougie, the bassist. They played nearly all my favorite songs (All I Want to Do is Rock, Writing to Reach You, Closer (sigh), Driftwood, Re-offender, My Eyes, Selfish Jean) and sounded at times even better than recording. They had the greatest accents, and were such a jolly, fun loving group.
I have never felt more Beatle mania than at this concert. Every time Erin, Stephanie and I would lock eyes with Dougie the bassist, we would just melt. He didnt seem much of anything when he walked up on stage, but that smile....really made us feel like giddy school girls.
Best part-- at the end of the set, Dougie tossed out his guitar pick into the crowd. It bounced off Erin's shoulder, and landed right by my foot! Its still sitting on my desk, where it shall remain forever. If I ever decide to pick up guitar, I am told by reliable sources that those are PRIMO guitar picks. Sweet.

Too bad for the Coldplay concert I know I will be so far back....still, I am excited for my next concert!
