Oh how the time flies!

I can't believe I've been on break for almost 2 weeks already!
Finals went swimmingly (surprisingly) and I am so thankful for this time off from school.

Fun things I've done so far:

-Went on a Christmas Argosy cruise with some fellow Freshman group leaders. Not only did we get to go for free, but we became entertainment for the whole boat with a full 45-minute set of dancing on the observation deck as we traveled the sound. Any music the crew threw on the speakers, we ate it up. A perfect night with great friends!
-I stayed at UCU for a few days after finals. The few of us who were left enjoyed a night full of Red Mill, games, and snow ball fights on the quad.
-LOTR marathon with newbie Kailey!
-Wall-e (in HD!) and thrift store shopping
- Re-uniting with old friends from my Hale days
- Great conversations late into the night with my favorite girls
- Christmas shopping
-Sliding down the icy streets of Lake City using cardboard, turkey pans and linoleum
-Early Christmas with family + their significant others
-A long day of sledding, falling, and silliness

While the snow may mean being stuck inside all day for some, it's pushed me to use the bus more. I've really enjoyed bringing my backpack place to place like a lone traveler, not knowing where I'll sleep that night.

Still on my list of things to do:
-Read a book or two on my goodreads list
-Get my hands on some new cds (currently wanting Girl Talk, Kings of Leon, Fleet Foxes, MGMT, Ratatat, new(er) DeVotchka and Sigur Ros).
-Catch up with friends I haven't seen in a while
-Research Public Health a bit more
-Love on others as much as possible.
